CASA is a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization that trains and supervises community volunteers. It represents the best interests of our most vulnerable citizens - child victims of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse and neglect. There are nearly 1,000 CASA programs in 49 states training, recruiting, and providing support to the children of abuse and neglect in the courtroom or other settings. There are various areas of CASA that we can look at to see their methods and progress from the beginning of its establishment.Important organizational elements include CASA’s history, purpose, locations, and the services that it provides.
