The program uses the C-GAS (Children’s Global Assessment Scale) to measure changes in functioning related to school engagement, relationships with family/ caregivers, and reduction of mental illness symptoms. This is a standardized tool that measures many key life domains and behaviors. Reports of child abuse and neglect, law enforcement involvement, and out of home placement are tracked by applicable reports. Improved behavior and academic performance is measured by data received from the school.
A client satisfaction survey will be given to the client/family at discharge from the program. A Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services administrative staff will also do follow-up with the youth and his/her family by phone each quarter while
