Rapist, Drug dealers, Terrorists and Kidnappers walk the streets everyday with no shame, however those who witness the crime and say nothing at all are just as awful, On October the 28th of 2009 a young 15-year-old female was gang raped by 10 or more men involved, while another 18 or more students that just observed and did nothing to stop the crime. The young girl was raped for about two and a half hours by an alley that was near Richmond high, her own high school. Several students witnessed the misdeed and informed other former students to come and watch. For example, people do not want to get involved, but is it to much to ask for that you pick up the phone and call the police for someone with their life on the line. It gives a huge overall image of what kind of society we are living in. The New York times published an article about a woman by the name of Kitty Genovese’s, a 28-year-old that was stalked all the way to her apartment at 82-70 Austin St only to be stabbed to death.
