Ever since I was in kindergarten, I have always been fascinated with dinosaurs. I remember my kindergarten teacher first introducing them to me; within this huge book were vivid illustrations of bygone creatures of another time, including mighty beasts like Tyrannosaurus rex. What is amazing to me, now that I am older, is that all of the information that we get about these animals come from the meticulous work of paleontologists and their study of fossils. Without these traces of expired animals, we would have never known about the fascinating creatures that no longer roam the Earth.
