In this story the question is technology vs person. Technology plays a big part in today’s society for example cell phones; there are people who have their phones attached at the hip, the euphio would be the cell phone of society. They are comparative because they both make a person happy and get that feeling of fulfillment. In the 1950s when life was simpler and family time was a togetherness, technology gets rid of the need for personal contact with the world and because of that people are lacking the communication and social interaction that played a vital role in society
