The article “Buy Experiences, Not things”, written by James Hamblin illuminates how the average mind wanders majority of the time, experiences bring a lot more happiness then actual items, and experiences are better out in society, where connections can be made. First emphasized in the article is how the ordinary mind strays from focus majority of the time. A good forty-seven percent of the time, the mind drifts during sex, while reading, even while during a conversation with another human being, (it can even happen while taking care of a child!)
