From my data, I am able to conclude that the death probability, decreased or increased, does not appear to have a profound impact on the average Butterfly count. The patch that appears, from my simulation, to be most affected by an increased death probability (NP) from 0.1 to 0.4, is the stepping stone patch, with a difference in average butterfly count of 11.7. I make this recommendation based on the data I collected from my simulated investigation. After testing the three different patch types with varying death probabilities, the patch type that was least effected by the death probability at three different rates, is the enlargement patch type. The overall average butterfly count when the death probability is different is the greatest in the enlargement patch type. However, all three averages for the three different patch types are no more than 7 butterflies
