We are the Underground: a haunted house attraction that is located in a cavern. Our goal is to create a truly frightening experience in a very untraditional way by focusing more on the actors and natural setting rather than large effects and displays. We operate seasonal, but keep our lobby/bar open all year. The attraction will consist of a self guided tour of the cave were the participants will explore, figure out what they must do through puzzles, and reading. During their experience, the customer will encounter our actors, who will personally scare them through stalking, jumpscares, chases, ex. The story, and actors will depend on that years theme. Each year we take suggestions from the customers online. We pick the most

It will consist of 14 costumed people who are designated to scare customers and 2 bartenders. The costumed employees role is scarce and interact with our customers, while also guiding them along the trail. They will stay in character during their shift (unless on break) playing the role assigned to them. To help keep The Underground an interesting experience, our actors are called to take it a step above other haunted houses, not only acting as a display, but actually interacting with the customers. This could mean following a group, jumping out at individual people, reacting to what the customer does, and, when appropriate, even chasing them. They are also required to follow our “rules of the cave” which is meant to keep the customers safe from any harm. As a seasonal part time job, They will earn minimum wage, $7.25. The two bar tenders will work year round. There job will be to serve the customers drinks, check for ID, and also provide any information a customer might need. Unlike our actors, we will train the bartenders to be as friendly as possible, giving a very different mood to the bar. This includes keeping a smile on their face, starting up conversation when it is welcomed, and responding to request/problems as quick and friendly as possible. Our goal is to make this section of our business a fun and exciting place to hang out, and we believe that the interaction with our bartenders is a key component in that. Our bartenders will be paid 8 dollars an hour. The everyday schedule will consist of one bartender and ten costumed employees doing their jobs. All of the employees will be rotated around shift-wise, so it isn’t the same employees day after

This makes it so that the first job of the waitress is not to serve the customer but the bartender. An example of this is when the text says, “But if in the midst of pressure a girl manages well, she will often hear the bartender say, ‘You’re a damn good waitress,’ or she may find one or another bartenders like to work with her… Even though each girl strives to please the bartender, she will be told, ‘You bitches have no brains. As president of my high school's Key Club, it is my job to organize service activities for our members to volunteer in. One of these activities is the local haunted house sponsored by the Front Royal Little League. This fundraiser for the little league started when Mr. Bryan Binnix stepped in to save it from plummeting. Mr. Binnix discovered that the program wasn't making enough profits until his brother, Mr. Bobby Binnix, wanted to make a change, thus they proposed the idea of having an annual haunted house. Since the first year in 2012, the fundraiser has raised approximately $9,500.00.…

Women always have kept the most important part in any societies. Naturally, women have been responsible for the perpetuation of the society, and they also can be seen as the focal point of worship in some ancient religions. However, societies of ancient Rome viewed women differently from some societies of past eras. Jeffrey Jerome Cohen in his article “Fear of the Monster is Really a Kind of Desire” examines the issue of being with a monster or better be the monster ourselves. The desire it can be either for power, freedom, or even just to be the center of attention. “We distrust and loathe the monster at the same time we envy its freedom, and perhaps its sublime despair” (Cohen, 190). People tend to watch scary movies and read monster stories and feel attracted to one of the monsters and wish to be that monster. In Halloween is the only time when a human being can express the realm of the monster they want to be just for a night and celebrate by asking for candy in the neighborhood or having a Halloween party.…

In Hamlet , Shakespeare utilizes the characterization of the ghost of King Hamlet to convey significant and climatic messages to the protagonist who , based on the information that is provided , carries out major plot - shifting developments . This leads the reader to make the connection to all that the protagonist does within the text and the initial meeting between the younger and elder Hamlet . It could be fairly speculated that the actions that are taken by the ghost of King Hamlet's character bring about the death of five separate people , all of whom died with different relations to King Hamlet . The ghost's appearance sets the revenge plot into motion , but it also delays the play ' s action . Shakespeare uses this method of solemnity…
