Proposed Idea
I am proposing the idea of a student run cafe and barista training facility. We will operate on the premise of ‘Students teaching students’, which is an important value at Ao Tawhiti. The cafe named ‘Unlimited Caffeine” will be open between the hours of 10:00-10:30 and 12:00-12:40 Monday to Friday, which training being held at negotiated times. The cafe and barista training facility will be solely self funded, and donate profits made back into the school community. This is an innovative idea as there are many cafes around, but no cafe/ barista training facilities, our barista training will complement the current barista training courses that students often attend.

High Market share, High Market Growth: Coffee, Chocolate

Low Market share, Low market growth: Noodles, Biscuits

Forecasts

Rates of sale
We want to be seling at least 10 coffees a day, that would be the equivalent to around $30 a day. At that rate we would be making around $150 per week, that would be enough money to be able to pay the school back and eventually start being able to pay for our stock and also make profit.

Sales forecast
If our rate of sale meets our expectations, we expect over a 4 week period, to make $600

Pricing policies
Our prices are likely to stay the same though out this business activity, as we can not raise them as people will come to our cafe because the coffees are cheaper than our competitors. If we raise them, they may choose to go to our competitors over us.

Market share
We will only have a very very small market share.

Costs revenue
Our costs revenue will be lowered as the workers at our cafe will be volunteers, and all transport will either be made by foot, or free, as we do not need to pay courier fees when ordering from Hummingbird. Essentially as we need to pay for is the stock, this enables us to keep our prices low and still make a

According to my research, the computer market in Santiago de los Caballeros is relatively small of companies similar to one that I want to introduce. If it comes to my neighbors, for instance the province of Pomerania, there is slightly more serious situation and predominance of business-type Internet Café. In most cases, however, you can see quite significant differences between the offerings of individual companies. They are focused mainly on the prices of services offered, which are usually based on location, target customer groups, and network bandwidth. An important factor for the price of the product are the costs of rent and electricity consumption.…
