Course Content
ILM Level 6 Diploma in Management has been designed to provide practising or potential senior management with a solid foundation for their formal development in this role. This programme has been developed to include 5 pathway options: Hospitality Management, Health and Social Care, Patisserie and Confectionary, Retail and Enterprise and Culinary Arts. It will help young professionals to acquire the necessary skills in modern management procedures and to get prepared for first line management positions.

These assessments are a mixture of reports, reflective statements, work-based practice, case studies, presentation and projects. NB Industrial placements will also be monitored by the student’s assigned College tutor.

Entry Requirements
A three year diploma/degree in a related subject from a recognised school or university together with relevant work experience.
For students whose first language is not English an English language score of IELTS min 5.5 in each band score is required.

Application Procedure
All prospective students should apply directly to the International Student Centre and ensure the personal statement on the application form is filled in, with the details of any relevant work experience. This is so that personal circumstances and previous experience can be considered in the application.

Visa Information
International students holding a UK Student Tier 4 visa may legally take part time work up to 10 hours per week during term/semester study weeks. During vacations there is no limit to the number of hours per week a student may take paid employment.

21 months, which includes a 6 month salaried work placement.

Start Dates
25th February 2013 and June 2013

Course Fees
Fees for the entire 21 month programme are set at £5,400. This includes tuition and examination fees and basic teaching materials – no other fees will be charged. The fees do not include accommodation.
