During my time at Illinois State University, I have been committed to academic excellence, involvement on campus, and volunteer initiatives, which makes me an excellent candidate for the GEICO Achievement Award. Academically, I am an honors Human Resource Management and Organizational Leadership double major with a 4.0 GPA, who has made Dean’s List every semester during my tenure at ISU.

Currently, I hold several top leadership positions on campus such as the President of the College of Business Executive Council (COBEC), President and Founder of Christian Business Leaders (CBL), and treasurer of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Our efforts have impacted ISU by giving students a place of belonging, where they can express themselves and attract like-minded leaders in the community to come together and join in our mission. For the organization's efforts, CBL won Student Organization of the Year for the academic year of 2015-2016, our first year as a student organization. This was the first time a College of Business student group won such an award since 2009.

In addition, one of the unique experiences I have had during the course of my college career is creating a Skills- Based Volunteering program in the College of Business. Skills- Based Volunteering is leveraging the specialized skills and talents of students to strengthen the infrastructure of nonprofits. By creating this program, it allows for students to find a cause that excites them and makes an impact by sharing skills and giving back to the community in a more meaningful
