I once had a group assignment for a Business Law course I was taking at Tuskegee University. I arrived on scene at approximately 1027 hours and saw the husband later identified as Confidential Victim #1, outside the garage and the wife, identified as Suspect Prywes, standing inside the garage. I approached Prywes and asked her what happened. She told me she was pushed and hit the concrete hard on her back. I asked her if she would like to have paramedics come and take a look at her and she started to become extremely upset and began insisting that no medics be called.…

This involved two potential contracts: a unilateral, ‘process’ contract followed by a bilateral, binding agreement. An offer of a unilateral, process contract was sent to the three contractors by MML. To accept the offer, they are required to submit a tender and pay a $100 administration fee to be considered for the contract to paint Eastfield plaza. In this process contract, if accepted by the contractors, MML would have an obligation to accept the lowest-priced tender that complied with the terms of the tender process and be obliged to enter into a bilateral contract with them. These terms include the tenders being treated as confidential, the tender needing to be received by the 24th February at 5pm along with the aforementioned admin fee.…

COMMERCIAL LAW Student number: 1400547; Word count:2,173 words The Sale of Goods Act 1979 is a consolidation of the 1893 act and subsequent legislation which places numerous legal obligations on business sellers apart from the agreed express contractual terms. The statutory implied terms that concern sale of goods are embedded in section 13-15 of the 1979 act and in practice do not affect each other like in Arcos Ltd v E A Ronaasen & Son where the goods were of satisfactory quality and fit…
