Business Degree Goal

Decent Essays
My desired outcome from completing my business administration degree is to educate myself first and get more information about economics. While doing this academic program, I recognize that the opportunity cost is the income I am forgoing by working less in the market. Also, I understand why US might import something from China, even though it is able to produce it cheaper - the reason is a lower opportunity cost. However, the skills I acquire from my current academic program will help me in everyday life and the job market I guess I can use business degree anywhere. This program gives me enough time to develop my coding skills and also learn to think critically through economic scenarios so as to provide valuable consulting advice to my future

In the essay “Are Too Many People Going To College, Murray challenges the belief that it is necessary for all students to go to college. He argues that the fundamental and necessary things we should be learning we should already be taught before college. According to Murray every young person is not meant to go to college. He argues that four year colleges don’t make sense as a place to make a living and the three rationales that once existed for going to college have long ago began to fade. Murray states “Guidance counselors and parents who automatically encourage young people to go college straight out of high school regardless of their skills and interest are being thoughtless about the best interest of young people in their charge.”…
