Business Analysis: Ms. Pao's Lesson

Ms. Pao’s suit is based on the following conceit: that business refuse to hire or promote top-notch employees who would increase their profits, simply because those employees are female. Kleiner Perkins devoted a considerable amount of time into developing Ms. Pao’s potential, yet the idea that they were letting her go because of her gender, is absurd. Business leaders wants to make money, if you are given several chances to improve, such as Ms. Pao, and still you are underperforming. Then, I believe Kleiner Perkins did the right thing. As mentioned also, in three decades only five junior partners, out of 24 have been promoted to senior rank, meaning Ms. Pao was not alone when it comes to not being promoted.
