Burger Wuss Book Report

Improved Essays
Have you ever been mad at somebody and tried to get revenge on them? Well in the book Burger Wuss, this is exactly what happens. The main character in the book is Jake, and he will seek revenge on his ex-girlfriend. In this journal, I will be connecting, questioning, and predicting.

I think that Jake getting back at Jen relates to me trying to get back at my dad. I think these are similar because Jake is not trying to hurt Jen he is just trying to get back at her. This is a lot like when I try to get back at my dad it is similar because nether me or Jake are trying to hurt them. It is more just like trying to get back at somebody that you love. Your goal is not to hurt them but more to teach a lesson. I feel like I am also a lot like Jake because of how stubborn we both are. Jake has his own mind and does what he want this is just like me.”I was buzzing with hate”.(Anderson 47) This quote is just like the point I was tring to cover in this journal.

If they know longer have a thing together why does she care what he does. I think a couple reasons why she cares is. She is afraid here friends and family will look at her differently Maybe even treat her different. Jen is all about fitting in and looking cool. Jake is trying to mess that up. I think he is just trying to make her stick out like a sorw thumb. I also think Jake thinks if pesters her enough that she will maybe she will come back to him or she will just hate him even more. “The next day I was smoldering. ”.(Anderson 47) This quote is just like the point I was tring to cover in this

Bull lives in Wisconsin with his grandfather, while his mother is living in LA. His mother wants him to forget about baseball and attend school in LA, but Bull knows what’s best for him and he thinks that his calling is baseball. Jeff and Billy are Bull’s friends and have been since elementary school.…

The Adelburgers were a closely guarded secret the high ranking members who made up RGA high command. What was even more peculiar about this unofficial policy of denying the existence of the Adelburgers and their FVL allies was Walther Schäffer’s second-in-command: the brilliant, yet shady Gerhard Voss. Like his superior, Voss also hailed from the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Boston. A sixteen year old Ryanite that most of the RGA has never heard about, those few who ever had even a single chance at meeting the boy, spoke immensely of the aura of mystery that pervaded him. The story behind Voss’ rise to power can be attributed to his brilliance as a consultant for the Dweller leaders who made up the Coalition that was led by Hades, the…

These lessons are more like ideas for Otto to think about and if it would be acceptable to apply to his daily life. But, not only are the lessons for Otto to consider, they are meant for the audience to consider for themselves personally. When Otto and Rinpoche settle back in at the St. Mary’s Inn, Otto begins reading Rinpoche’s book.…

Tragic turn of life Loss, pain and suffering are stepping stones, slowly building and shaping an individual’s life. These tragic events help transform life, in sometimes drastic ways, that it has the power to mold and often determine one’s destiny itself. In the book, The Other Side of the Bridge, Mary Lawson incorporates this by demonstrating how tragic events continuously play a major role in shaping the destiny of the central characters. Despite the fact that traumatic events scar Ian Christopherson and Arthur Dunn for life, these incidents help them achieve what fate has set in store for them. On the contrary, such events cause a drift in the lives of two brothers, Jake Dunn and Arthur Dunn, defying whatever had been predestined for them.…
