McLamore Foundation:
Burger King McLamore Foundation gives back to the people. The foundation was created in order to help promote charity organizations and activities. Burger King uses their brand to collect donations and scatter it across the world. For example: Burger King has decided to support Room to Read. Since its creation in 2000, Room to Read has changed 7 million children in Africa and Asia by helping them to become literate and teaching them gender equality. Room to Read will create 10 libraries in South Africa and Southeast Asia from 2013 onwards. (King, n.d.)

Good education is very important and it can be the solution to a lot of South Africa’s problems. Education will help us to solve poverty and illiteracy. If we improve our education systems then more people will be able to read. This will help them to finish school and contribute to society in a much better way. Our illiteracy will drop if the education is good enough and more people have access to it. This is exactly what Burger King McLamore is doing. They are helping underprivileged people get the chance to get an education and have a good education. Poverty will decrease if more people can get a higher salary. This will help our country to get back on its feet. Better education might also help us to have better managers and leaders. This can make Burger King look selfish or make their efforts look futile or petty. It can destroy their positive image and make them lose customers. For example: A person sees McDonald’s gives more to education than Burger King and starts to think McDonald’s is better and isn’t so selfish with their money while Burger King is selfish and doesn’t do enough. That person might end up being a strong supporter of McDonald’s.
• If they start to implement technology to improve education, it might influence the sustainability of the project. Since technology is expensive, they might not have the funds to keep it going continuously. This is bad because they need a sustainable CSR project to show the community they care and they are committed. This can affect their positive image and break the trust organizations have in them. They must show the community and businesses that they are consistent.
• Natural disasters can destroy the libraries and institutions they have created. Natural disasters are especially prominent in Asia. This will be a loss for Burger King and the community that makes use of the
