U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Stopbullying website explains what is suicide prevention by address the two common agencies involving bullying-suicide among children. Which are: Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services mission is to enhance and protect the health and well-being of all Americans. HHS works to promote, prevent, and wellness across it programs for all Americans (HHS.gov, 2017). My paper focus on promote, prevention, wellness of bullying-suicide of children.

The SS/HS Initiative has provided valuable lessons about successful strategies for prevention and intervention. SS/HS sites serve as models of effective bullying prevention efforts, and help to advance the national agenda on bullying prevention. South Carolina requires 2 hours of training every 5 years (consistent with the state’s existing). It is the first service of its kind where crisis centers across the United States have joined together to form one national chat network that can provide online emotional support, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention services (About Us: CrisisChat, 2017).
Crisis Chat has been a nationwide project that aims to improve access to mental health care. Crisis Chat has linked existing certified crisis call centers around the United States on one website platform, creating a service that will eventually route website visitors to the crisis center that serves their local area. Crisis Chat has also provided essential emotional support and crisis intervention services to millions of people who are depressed, despairing or thinking about suicide (About Us: CrisisChat, 2017).
