Reflective Essay In High School

During this class, I have learned so much and my view on a few things changed based on the things I was taught. Before I came to this class I honestly did not know what to expect. I thought it was just going to be a class where I write essays by the high school standards but my opinion quickly changed. I chose the first essay that I had written in this course in which I really connected to and had a big emotional attachment to the topic I chose. Bullying is a very common topic, and was easy to revise my essay into something else such as the book I wrote. The things I learned in this class made revising my narrative essay so much easier. This class made me such a smarter more prepared student. When I came into this class, the atmosphere was so much more different than the high school atmosphere that it made things that I was learning about make a lot more sense. In my high school English classes we know the basic how to write an essay but in this class, I had a better and deeper understanding of how and why we do certain things in an essay. …show more content…
Since my audience was older kids such as middle school it would make sense to change the audience to elementary school so they will understand bullying before the time comes when bullying becomes at large for them. I also love kids and I want them to understand how bad bullying can affect somebody not only that but how being bullied can hurt but for them not to bully anybody else. Also, I hit on if you are the bully you can get into trouble to show there can be consequences of being the bully. If read to kids and maybe explained by a teacher and questions are asked they could understand the book and be able to learn even more about bullying.
