Bullying is unwanted aggression that can be physical or emotional and shown in multiple ways. Those who bully others tend to have deep psychological problems and project it onto others. For those chosen as the victim it’s not always easy to escape the daggering words as the commentary is difficult to escape. Bullying can leave deep emotional scars on children.The words that are callously thrown around can be carried by a person for a lifetime. There are many forms of bullying, and it can be difficult to figure out whether or not the joke was taken too far. Bullying is an occurrence that happens globally, but what most don’t realize is how large of an impact it can have. That simple comment on her dress that you made just ruined her day, she now thinks that she’s hideous. Each day she will look in the mirror and question whether she is pretty enough today. Bullying is hard to control, but it takes the acts of kindness from others to reverse the negative impacts. Each choice has a reaction; surrounding yourself with negativity and feeding it or breaking away from it and finding your happiness. Each option has its own path but the effects of bullying isn’t forgotten. It’s hard to control the actions of others but by choosing to ignore others hate you better yourself as a person. Surrounding yourself with positive influences you are able to block out the hate and grow overall. Bullying is the cause of many psychological issues and for some of the worst case scenarios such as Suicide, or Eating disorders the only solution is to tackle the negative. By refusing to allow it to affect you, you have separated yourself from the situation. Now, it may not always be as easy as it sounds on paper the only way to make a difference is to speak out and refuse to let it change you.
