It was about a thirteen year old boy who was gay. When he told his friends, they rejected him and started making fun of him. Because of that Trevor tried to commit suicide. Because this story was so powerful there was a non for profit organization called the Trevor Protect. Which is helping prevent suicide especially with LGBT youth. Anna Mueller said in her Article that “Youths who are bullied or harassed are more likely to report delinquent behaviors, depression, low self esteem, poor school performance, and higher levels of alcohol and drug use.”.
