Have you ever thought about what bullying really is? Bullying is where kids can intimidate others, by making them feel less important by emotionally and physically hurt other kids. In this chapter you will learn about types of bullying, how it changes people’s lives, and show how bullying can overrule others.

Types of Bullying First of all, there is more than just one type of bullying. The first type of bullying is called Cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is where kids use the internet and other devices such as cell phones and computers and bully others through electronics. According to the article, ¨Cyber Bullying- What Teachers And Schools Can Do,¨ it states that 42% of kids have been bullied online. 1 out of 4 kids, have had it happen

One example on how it can change people's lives, are through families and relationships. If your being bullied at school this can have an effect on your life at home. According to article, ¨stopbullying.gov,¨ bullying can impact the family. It states that the kids that are bullied, are found to be more emotional, show signs of anger and typically do not want to hang out with family members. It is important to notice these signs as it may mean that a child is being bullied. The article also says that many kids that are bullied, tend to withdraw from others and just want to stay in their rooms and are not interested in doing anything. Another example of how bullying changes people's lives is through how they act. According to the article, ¨expertrain.com¨, states, ¨they felt less able to rely on friends in time of illness or need and were less likely to spend free time meeting up with friends.¨ This is significant because, they would just sit around at home and not do anything. Their lack of smiling and facial expression may show that they just are not interested in doing anything or they don’t care to hang out with their friends anymore. They would rather just be alone and stay home. In the article, ¨stopbullying.gov,¨ it says that when kids are bullied, they are often stop hangout with others and usually just stay at home and don’t care to be involved in anything or anybody any more.
