Bullying does not always have to be name calling; it is often violent at times. The phrase “kids will be kids” should not be taken with a grain of salt as it has the power to shape identities and change the climate of a school. To find a viable solution we need to address the origin of the problem and incorporate positive cultural values into a barbaric society where posting a fight on social media has become custom. Although many kids don’t believe bullying is a problem, there is a dire need to end the unnecessary violence. Bullying has been around for a long time, and it takes time for the societal standards to change the attitudes that minimize and accept it. The school is the only place where these aggressive behaviors can be addressed
