Bullying In Ray Bradbury's All Summer In A Day

Essay 2 Bullying is an issue that impacts every school. Bullying is harmful to children, because of lowering their self-esteem and making them feel weak, it makes children feel weak, it makes children feel unhappy with who they are and can affect these children’s future. Bullying is something that happens mostly in grade school, but they can also carry out through their lives into adulthood. Bullying is important issue to me, because I have a six-year-old child that was been bullied last year and to this day she still says kids want to bully her again, for instance, not letting her make friends and picking on her. Like in the story “All summer in a Day” by Ray Bradbury, Margot is being bully by her classmates, they don’t give her the ability to see or feel the sun’s warmth by leaving her in a the closet, because of her classmates acting as bullies. For instance, my daughter this year since she started, to feel intimidate by the school. She was assign to a strict teacher, in which to me is fine because she is better of with a strict teacher to prevent bully, but the problem was my daughter didn’t feel comfortable with the teacher. For example, she would pee on her pants for several days in a row and I had to come to school to change her cloth, I felt worried because it wasn’t normal for kids to pee for several times and her feeling scared to ask the teacher to go to the restroom. Then she start to cry because she felt intimated by the teacher, so I decide to change her teacher, but there was other new principal this year and she barely change her to other classroom, I had a hard trouble changing her, but I couldn’t leave my child with some she felt intimated with
