Bullying, unfortunately, is something most teens encounter on a regular basis. Whether they are the one being bullied, they are the one doing the bullying, or they see their peers being bullied, it is simply part of their lives. Even more unfortunate is that bullying can lead to teens attempting suicide.
A recent study, though, found one thing that may potentially reduce a teen’s risk of attempting suicide even if they are bullied. The study, conducted by researchers from the University of Vermont, found that high school students who are bullied who exercise at least four times per week had a reduced risk of suicidal thoughts and suicide attempts.
