There are four types of bullying Verbal, Physical, relational, and racist. Verbal accounts for 70% of reported bullying, it is also the easiest to get away with. Physical accounts for less than one third of bullying incidents. Physical bullies are most likely to end up with serious offences later in life. Relational which includes shunning, isolating, ignoring, and excluding. It is the hardest to detect because it usually unseen. Raciest bullying is usually in an environment where different is seen as bad and is there for judged and discriminated against. Bullies usually relights on the bystander to join in on the bullying or not do anything at all about it. Most bystanders are afraid to get hurt themselves, becoming the new target, fear of making the problem worse or just don’t know what to do. The bully could also be their friend, they don’t like the bullied or they don’t want to be labeled as a snitch. Bystanders are also involved in grapevine bullying or spreading rumors.
