BULLYING IN THE WORKPLACE

Abstract
Bullying is slowly becoming a major problem in the workplace. This paper will look into why bullying in the workplace is becoming a problem, the different types of workplace bullying and from the point of view of the bully, the victim and the co-workers who have to work around the bullying. The articles may define bullying differently or my not agree on who the bullies and the targets are, but the result and consequences of bullying are the same. The paper will inform the readers of what kind of people bully and how to identify one before they strike. I will also address who is most at risk of being bullied and what co-workers feel about it and how they should react when they see bullying taking place at work. Knowing the resources available to help deal with and avoid bullying will also be addressed in this paper because it is very important that victims and witnesses are aware of the help surrounding them in the workplace.
