Bullying and violence prevention; an old widespread problem among school.

The violence in the classroom, which manifests itself in a very concrete way between school bullying is a problem that concerns families, who are part of the educational system and the whole society. As with any social problems, we must seek and establish procedures effective to stop and prevent it.

Every day thousands of teens wake up afraid to go to school. Bullying is a problem that affects students of all races and classes, and is of concern to many, not only for those who are victims of it, but because parents, teachers and other adults can not always witness it often do not understand how extreme bullying can get. Bullying is serious.

"Bullying occurs when a person is continually tormented by a person or group with more power; either physical strength or social standing." Two of the main reasons for bullying are the appearance or social status of the victim. Bullies pick on children that they do not fit in their group because of their appearance, behavior (for example, kids who are shy and withdrawn), race or religion, or because the bullies think their target may be gay.

Some bullies attack their targets physically, which includes pushing, punching, hitting, or even sexual assault. Others use psychological control or verbal insults to get in control of the situation.
