Studies have yet to prove if bullying directly causes suicide-related behavior however it has been proven bullying behavior and suicide-related behavior are closely related (CDC). This means youth who report any involvement with bullying behavior are more likely to report high levels of suicide-related behavior than youth who do not report any involvement with bullying behavior.

Bullying is sociological hazardous in a multitude of ways beyond suicide-related behaviors. By it mostly affecting the children of the world, which are our future it is very concerning. School-age victims of bullying begin to feel disconnected from school. Subsequently, a decrease in participation, dropping out, and/or not striving to obtain a higher education. Which
