Bullying is becoming one of the biggest problems in America today. 24 percent of white students report being bullied in schools. This is the highest percentage it has been in years. 19 percent of Hispanic students have been reported bullied. That is the highest it has ever been. As bulling in schools rises, so do the suicide rates. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the US alone. Suicide costs a lot of money to the government as well, around $44 Billion annually. There are many ways to stop bulling in the US. If you see someone getting bullied, stand up to the bully. A bully’s #1 weakness is being stood up to. If you are getting bullied, talk to someone. One of the most surprising facts about bulling is that only 1 in 4 teachers
