Most bullying occurs in places where there is limited to no adult supervision. In school, the majority of unwanted aggression occurs in locations like the lunchroom, the locker room, the playground, the bathroom, the hallways, the bus and online where adults are typically not present (p.16). 2.This statement means that bullies will take advantage of committing repetitive act in areas outside of school personnel view. Bullies are wise to commit acts in locations without adult supervision to avoid disciplinary action. Bullies whose actions are unnoticed will continue to harass their victim with no worries of getting caught. This is a problem for school personnel because they cannot be everywhere and monitor all the student activities. The ability to recognize bullying will enable me to take action that’s deemed appropriate. If an event involves a weapon, I will notify the proper authorities to handle the situation. Like the subway slogan saying goes, “if you see something, say something.”

Nonetheless, be clear: School personnel have a responsibility to create a culture in which bullying is unacceptable and to protect kids from physical and psychological harm (p.28). 3.This statement means that school personnel will not tolerate bullying in any manner. Creating a zero tolerance policy for staff and students displays that everyone will be accountable for their actions. The goal and objective is to provide a safe environment for school personnel and students that are conducive for learning. Providing a safe environment will enable educators to teach and students to learn in a healthy setting.
I have not seen this in my experience, yet, creating a positive atmosphere will be favorable for all parties to teach and learn. Protecting children from physical and psychological harm will enable them to do well in the classroom. Bullies who are disruptive, affects the classroom environment for students who want to learn. When bullying occurs, school personnel must ensure the safety of all students and stop
