Which i can luckily say, yet i have encountered other people that i know or that are really close to me that have. I have also been a bystander but in these situtations i usually do not know the person who is being attacked. I have haad friends and family who have been bullied and in those cases i do what i can do whether it is confronting the person myself or giving advice in what to do because it all depends on how they want to approach the situation. I've also played the instigator role when a friend would fight and other situations. I was once the bully but i did not notice until the worst happened i had a friend and well i would always pick on him i would push him around and well i didn't really think of it as bullying because we were close friends but one day me and a different friend decided to just play a joke on him so we did and we broke his arm we never thought that was going to happen but it did and that was what i guess someone would call a breaking point for me because i felt so guilty and full of shame. This was because i considered him a friend yet i treated him really bad and i noticed that really late. Luckily we are still friends and i learned a valuable lesson. The thing that still surprises me was that there was no big consequences which i thought was amazing but then it clicked and i realized that that whole time i was the bully and i honestly felt bad. Now that i am older and i've …show more content…
In that type of situation i would do the same but many kids our age just really do not wanna speak to an adult so i would help in giving advice on exactly what to do or i would give them moral support and tell them that when you have people that dislike you it is because you have something they don't so they want to bring you

This is the reason this has got so out of hand. Teens dealing with everything all by themselves because they fear or no one helps. Teens rely on each other and somewhere along the line turn on each other for a reason or another and that is when everything goes down. Something interesting at Madera High that was pointed out by Martinez was that most of the bullying occurred between friends or acquaintances, not so much strangers.…

At least that 's what most of the community believes, little does the community know it is not always that way. Bullying/harassment is not a huge problem at MHS, but is is there. When I was younger, probably in elementary school, I was bullied all the time. People I knew would bully me, people I didn't know would bully me. They would ignore me and call me horrible names like ugly and stupid. I would just ignore them and walk away acting like I didn't care, but deep down inside I was crying a waterfall of tears. My mom never knew about it, not that she didn’t care or anything, but I didn’t tell her.…

During my time with the SCDAA I heard one word in particular thrown around frequently: bullying. It may seem like a harsh word but it begs to be explained. For whatever reason, overwhelming pressure or preference, the average tone of daily interaction at SCDAA is a negative one. It is no secret that there is an ever changing favorites system in place. Any one who is considered a favorite is immune to negativity for however long a time their favoritism lasts.…

There are always two types of bystanders, one who acts and looks for help either because you can 't or because they don 't trust or don 't have enough confidence to go and tell an adult; and the other who sees a person being bullied but acts like her or she didn 't see or hear anything. One problem that is ever evolving and continuously effects young adolescence in school is bullying. Bullying can be defined as an activity in which someone intentionally participates in either physically or emotionally harming a peer through any medium; such as words, actions, or technology. By applying this definition to the term bullying, it makes sense that almost every teenager in America can identify a time when they were bullied, when they bullied someone else, or a time when they saw a peer get harassed. And with an increase in technology use, minorities in school, and a growing LGBT group in the education system the problem is only going to get worse. There is a common misconception in the adult community as well as media that somehow…
