At an in-service called Emotional Needs of Adolescents, Dr. Vespie, licensed therapist and preacher ( personal communication, August 6, 2012) shared relaxation techniques that ranged from slumping shoulders, to deep breathes as methods to deal with stress in the classroom brought on by difficult people in theory that demonstrate Bissell’s Lean in and Out theory.
