Bully: The Different Types Of Bullying At School

Nowadays, the news reports an increase in bullying at school. Many students who bully are trying to prove their sense of presence and want to avoid oppression. There are many different types and levels of bullying; minor accidents may just frighten students who are bullied, but sometimes, serious accidents might cause grievous injuries. So can we avoid school bullying? The answer is yes. Students who are victims of bullying should try their best to deal with this impulsive behavior sanely. Teenage victims should avoid being alone, try to get help, and make themselves stronger to deal effectively with their bullies. So, they should tell their parents or teachers to get some methods and protection. The adults have more interpersonal experience than students. They can have a talk with the bullies’ parents, educate them or supervise them to prevent more bullying. Many students who are bullied are afraid to tell the others, because they think it is no use, and will even make the things become worse, so they usually choose to be silence. But, this silence is the reason that will cause the bullying become severer in fact. As the main character in “The Dragon’s Egg” who is called Ai Lien, Jake was used to bully her, she did not tell anyone, it made her heavyhearted and made Jake be further intensified, but since Lung Wang helped her to frightened Jake when he was bullying her, he dares not to bully her again (Baird). The stronger in here has different sides. First, is the physical side. The bullies are always tease the weak and fear the strong so the students should enhancing their quality by doing exercise in order that give fear to others, and when they meet the bullying, they can have enough power to revolt them. The second one is the interpersonal communication. At every school, there are always have some students that are unwelcome. Some of them are introvert, or ill humored, or have some behavior which make the other feel uncomfortable, in a word, there are some issues on them. They are undesirable, and at the same time, they are easy to be the victims of bullying, because the farouche of them are likely to make them offend the bullies. Therefore, it is important for students to strengthen their social skills and establish the good relationships with everyone as far as possible, the people who have a good popularity are always have less troubles after all. The last one and also the most important one, is the psychological side. Bullying will bring a lot of psychological pressure to the victims, so they must adjust the states of their minds and keep optimistic. In conclusion, the victims of bullying should avoid being alone, try to get help from their friends, parents or teachers, and improve their physical, interpersonal communication and their psychological, these methods of deal with bullying are both sane.
