The author develops the character by their actions. One example is when Keo calls Sonny “Chicken”. This shows that Keo is a bully. Another action example is when Max pushes Uncle Rax to the water. This shows that Max is a bully. The last action example is that Aunt Pearl took Sonny in when he was a child. This shows that Aunt Pearl is a nice, kind woman. In conclusion, the author includes actions to develop the characters.
