Why Bullies Exist? Everyone has been bullied in their life before. Some were even the bullies. Bullying is the intimidation of a weaker person in a vulnerable situation. From teasing to actually being beat up, everyone has been a victim. There are even different types of bullying. But why does bullying exist?
A person with emotional conflicts can be bully. Bullies can exist because they have low self-worth. When a person feels like they are worth close to nothing they start feeling depressed. Some people who have low self-worth try to get others to feel the same way about themselves. Most people say bullies exist because they are angry. A person’s life events may cause them to turn to bullying as a way of relief. Sometimes when people was been exposed to judgmental attitudes they stop caring about how their actions affect others. They think strictly for themselves. A narrow-minded attitudes they stop caring contribute to a person being a bully. With a person being narrow minded they can only think in a certain range, they are unable to think outside of that range. What they may think is the only way to solve an issue isn’t. There are many ways to get through or solve an issue isn’t. There are many ways get through or solve anything. Another factor that can cause bullying is a person psychological behavior. The way your brain operates has an impact on how you handle things. Your brain may tell you that showing aggression is how you’re supposed to act. Or your brain may cause you to think that you have to bully others just to be safe. Some people are so traumatized as children that their brain teaches them to put up a defense mechanism. A student who attends a school where the teachers do not pay any attention and flat out do not care may become a bully. A lot of freedom is available in an environment like that allows a student to do what they please without any consequence. Then you have teachers are staff personnel who cannot identify bullying. Some people see teasing as harmless fun. But what if that person was you? No one wants to be on the receiving end of a joke.
