Another problem that could arise would be corruption, since in some Italian cities, the Mafia intimidates business owners to provide monetary contributions in order for them not to sabotage businesses. It may also be difficult to compete with other businesses who often operate illegally, such as paying employees under the table, meaning they do not have to worry about taxes. On the opposite side, There are several opportunities for a Buffalo Wild Wings, such as the fact that soccer is very popular in Italy, especially Serie A, so capitalizing on the sports culture in each city would be simple. Italian’s are also big on food, drinks, and entertainment, which Buffalo Wild Wings would obviously be providing. Buffalo Wild Wings also utilizes outdoor seating, which would work perfectly with Italy’s warmer weather and large smoking population.
