The Buffalo Bills in the early 90s are often considered the most depressing dynasty in NFL history. From the years 1990 to 1994 the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League lost 4 consecutive Super Bowls. This is the only time in NFL history that this has happened to this date. Sportshistory.com states, “In 1990, the Bills switched to a no-huddle, hurry-up offense (frequently with Kelly in the shotgun formation, the “K-gun”, named for tight-end Keith McKeller), and it led the Bills’ offense to one of the best in the league” (1-2). The mastermind behind the no-huddle offense was Marv Levy, who was one of the first coaches to develop such an offense. Bruce Smith was another immensely important player for the early 90s Bills. Bruce Smith was born on June 18, 1963 (60 years old). Smith went to college at Virginia Tech, where he was a two-time All-American. Bruce had an incredible career at Virginia Tech, which earned him first overall in the 1985 NFL draft by the Buffalo Bills. Smith played 15 of his 19 seasons with Buffalo and the other 4 with the Washington Redskins. Considered one of the greatest defensive players of all time for his excellent pass rushing, Smith finished his career with 200 career
