Buena introduced earlier this year Buena Today, buena today is the first video announcements introduced in a Ventura Unified School District high school .Buena Today features news from clubs, sports teachers, and administration to get valuable information to students for the week.
“It's a great way to communicate with students and teachers,” Assistant Principal Frank Davis said, “Ninety percent of teachers are showing the announcement to the students than reading the bulletin announcement first period.”
Davis added that more and more parents are getting involved with school events and watching Buena Today at home which is accessible from the Buena Website. Another advantage is“Students are using Buena Today to help identify Staff around Campus.”
