Buddhism may teach how to prevent suffering, but suffering isn't the worst thing in the world. People must feel what it is like to suffer; to be in pain; to lose someone, in order to learn and grow into a better person. People shouldn't avoid desiring and loving something or someone because individuals learn from love and desire; it may hurt in the end, but then people mend and become stronger, smarter, and better people. Although by avoiding it at all costs, people will become empty, and lonely, and fall into the enigma of themselves, and that is not a good way to live a life. Judaism, though, teaches how to be a good person, and tries to avoid evil, instead of pain, through the guidance of the 10 commandments.
