Thich Nhat Hanh says love is being there. If you are not there how can you love? He is

right. You need to be present in order to love. In fact, your presence is the best gift to the person

you love. But, being there is not an easy thing. Training and practice is important. Do you have

time to love? Can you always be there? You should to ask like those questions. If your love is

true love you have enough time to love. Also your mind have to be there when your body is

there. The person you love needs to feel that you are really there for him or her.

What is true love? According to Thich Nhat Hanh, "Love is the ability to bring joy and

To love is to recognize; to be loved is to be recognized by the other. When you are really there, you have the ability to recognize the presence of the other. You should do everything to be able to recognize the presence of the person you love. This is very important practice. Also, in true love there is no place for pride. Pride is the obstacle for your love. Do not let pride keep you apart. You should overcome your pride, you should always go to the person you love. What should we do when we love someone? When we love someone, we feel strong, powerful. We feel happy because we found a friend who can understand us. This energy is beautiful but, we need to take care of that energy with mindfulness.
