Buck's Leadership In Call Of The Wild

Call of the Wild emits a very heavy message about Buck and how his leadership helps him through out the story. Buck became leader on his first dog sled team because Spitz attacked him with the attention of ending him right there. Buck had spent a awful lot of time in his new setting in Alaska. He began getting stronger and he uncovered his wolf ancestors' powerful instincts. When Spitz attacked him he tried his best to get out of there alive. He was in tune with death once he witnessed Curly's death and he knew that once you fall that was it. After furiously snapping at each other Spitz charged aimlessly charged at Buck and fell out into the lake and died. Afterwards, he became leader of the dog sled team.
