Another contemporary legislation related to computing that complies with my job role of a Software Developer is Computer Misuse Act. This act introduced three criminal offences: • Unauthorised access to computer systems, which is known as “hacking” • Unauthorised access with the intent to commit to an offence • Unauthorised changes to computer materials Computer Misuse act has a big impact on my job role - I have to be aware I do not commit any of the offences under this act for example if I access any unauthorised computer at my work place to which I don’t have an authorised right to use – this would appear to be “hacking” and it would be a criminal offence under Computer Misuse Act. Managers very quickly become disinterested in their new employees once they’ve finished with the training process. The training process requires only 5 shifts; the first two shifts are strictly shadowing shifts, where the new hire follows around an “expert” in that position. On the final shift, the new hire is thrown into the job in a stress test manner to see how they will react on their own. Unfortunately, at the Oakview Applebee’s location, we see a lot of new hires quitting before their training is even finished.…

At the beginning of the essay, Nuñez describes a scene in which she and her cousin went to eat at McDonald’s and decided to try out for a job there out of curiosity. They filed their applications and about a month later had their job interviews in which both passed. The author was initially surprised to receive the job but that turned into happiness when she realized that she no longer would have to depend on her mother for money anymore.…
