I have read the scenario provided in Appendix 1 for this assignment.

2. If necessary, review Australian Hardware’s general business information provided in Appendix 1 of assessment 1 to maintain your understanding of the business and its environment
According to the appendix business is underperforming from last 3 months which makes the owner of the company to assess the problems. Due to the underperformance of the company, owners wants to identify the areas need to be improved. Owner want to make sure that performance met the required standards of the company. 6. Based on the information provided in this assessment and assessment task 1. Identify and interpret trends and patterns and their causes and effects relevant to the identified business problem.
The trends and patterns that reflect the business growth of Australian Hardware are as follow:-
• Due to rising wage and hardware product prices whatever saved in payroll and cost of goods was offset.
• Staff can serve more customers per hour which made a boost in productivity in the stors. Productivity has increased with staff able to serve more customers per hour per person.
• Technician hardware products preparation speeds have increased after all technician staff completed an advanced technician course January 2015.
• In more than one year sales of 4th store is not satisfying. Store still down from the required standard of sales. Most of the marketing budget and Emma’s efforts have been focussed
