Like the old man in Bryan Stevenson’s speech. He had been fighting for equality and a change for so long. And finally, someone else decided to step up and fight for what he believed in too. He praised Stevenson for standing up, for helping out the condemned and fighting for equality. The old man couldn’t make the change he wanted on his own, he needed help. And Stevenson was going to help fight for what the old man had believed in for so long. I agree with everything Mr. Stevenson said at the convocation. There needs to be a change in the justice system. There needs to be a change with the way the U.S. administers the death penalty and the laws. We cannot ignore their problems and mistakes anymore. I have seen firsthand how messed up the justice system is. A boy in my hometown was wrongly accused of sexually assaulting and young boy.
