It's a horrible feeling knowing that this same situation can happen to me, my brothers, my parents, my friends, my whole family and many other families and that this is a constant fear we must have. In the United States being black is basically the same as committing a crime and the fact that that mindset is cultural normalcy is absolutely comical. It's almost like a natural instinct as a black individual to feel scared for your life in America, especially in encounters with police officers. Reacting to this massive fuck-up with solidarity and a refusal to condemn your fellow officers will only make the public vilify the police more. Please do not bring up the argument of there being "good cops" out there because while it may be true, they are 100% a part of the problem if they sit back and defend the cops that commit these terrible offenses and get off
