What’s Going On 2 Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On is one of my favorite songs. Honestly, every generation down through the years can ask this question. What’s Going On? What’s going on with our children, with in our homes, in our schools, in our cities, in our nation?
There are far too many mothers crying from the loss of their sons or even their daughters dying. Unjustifiable deaths, kids killing kids or those in authority for whatever reason assassinate our loved ones. What’s Going On 3 principal thing, it also is the ability to use knowledge. If we judge ourselves righteously, live honorably, being trustworthy, good hearted and reverential towards our neighbor there should be no problems; We know we live in a society where we are judged by our appearance and still many people rebel. Mr. Gaye admonishes us “Oh, you got to find a way to bring some understanding here today.” In my opinion, we have the understanding many people do not make application of that love. Mr. Gaye was known as the “Prince of Soul” he was born April 2, 1939 in Washington,
D. C. He was raised under strict control of his father. I discovered in reading his biography he often found peace in his music. He skillfully played the piano and drums at a young age. I never knew that Mr. Gaye’s father was a reverend, or that Marvin sang in
