The focus of this investigation will be “To what extent did Bruce Lee’s inspiration to make films and perform martial arts impact his life while changing the asian culture?” The years 1940-1973 will be the target for this investigation. During these years was the life span of Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee’s life revolved around martial arts, film making, and learning. A young Bruce Lee was in a street gang in which he then got into fights with english men. Bruce wanted to learn how to defend himself in which he learned from Yip Man: the master of wing chun.

Part B Surrounded by the cold war didn’t stop Bruce Lee from becoming a martial artist. Bruce Lee’s Foundation thinks that Bruce Lee is a wonderful actor and a legend of martial arts. Also the Great Athletes Source also thinks that Bruce Lee is an awesome martial artist.
Throughout the cold war Bruce Lee was born and lived his entire life in the cold war. However Bruce grew up in Hong Kong, training with the legendary Yip man. “In the three years that Bruce studied at the university, he supported himself by teaching gung fu to various people in Seattle. He and a few of his new friends would meet in any open spaces and play around with gung fu techniques”(Bruce Lee Foundation). Bruce Lee was taught the martial art of wing chun and various others, which led to his creation of Jeet Kune
