Bruce Lee’s Research Paper Bruce Lee was born in November 27, 1940 in San Francisco, California. His father, Hoi-chuen Lee was a Cantonese opera singer and an actor from Hong Kong. Hoi-chuen Lee and his wife, Grace Ho were on a one-year United States tour with the Cantonese Opera company. During that time, their second son, Bruce was born. Bruce was the fourth child to be born and has a two sister, Phobe and Agnes. Bruce also has two brothers, an older brother named Peter Lee and a younger brother named Robert Lee. When Bruce was a baby, he appeared in the American film “Golden Gate Girl”. By the time he was three months old, Lee’s family moved to Hong Kong. But Bruce’s childhood in Hong Kong were surrounded by the Japanese during World War II until 1945. At the age of thirteen, Bruce was introduced to a martial arts teacher, Yip Man who taught the style of Wing Chun. In high school, he won a boxing champion. When Bruce was at the age of eighteen, he flew to San Francisco, California looking for a new life. Then Bruce started acting again in many films. He was a talented actor and was involved in 32 films in his later acting career. In 1966, he start filming the television show “The Green Hornet”, where he played the character Kato. He filmed for 6 months and got paid around $400 per episode. In 1971-1973, Lee was involved in four movies that made him famous. The movies were “The Big Boss, The Way of the Dragon, The Chinese Connection, and Enter the Dragon”. Bruce received the Special Jury Award at The Golden Horse Film Festival in 1972. In 1993, Bruce had won The Star on the Walk of Fame award and in 2014 he won The Greatest Movie Fighter Ever award by the Houston Boxing Hall of Fame (IMDb ,
