Caitlyn Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner who was also known as Bruce Jenner has made a great

achievement when he decided to come out of hiding about him always

wanting to be a women. His achievement has made other men/women

be more open about wanting a gender change and not feel ashamed

about it. Some might say that they dislike him because he was doing it

all for fame and what he did doesn’t mean anything. To me I think he

well she is a brave women to come out in front of the world and tell

them about her having a gender change. Bruce not feeling comfortable

as a man is what motivated him more to change his gender. What Bruce

was going through is exactly what Maslow’s theory talks about.

Most people who are not happy with they way their were

born are ashamed to be open about it because they don’t want to be

judged by people around them. After Caitlyn came out about her not

Being a transgender is an issue that people don’t feel comfortable

talking about and now that Caitlyn Jenner came out with her wanting a

gender change people are coming out now from hiding and I am very

happy about that. I think hopefully this will decrease people committing

suicide because they are depressed about this issue or because they are

being bullied about wanting to be the opposite gender. People see motivation as something that encourages a person to act on a desired goal, while emotion is the feelings that go from the motive

itself. Both motives and emotions activate behavior and motives are

most of the time accompanied by emotions. Emotions usually have

motivational properties of their own.

Having motivation to stand up to what you want to do is something

that a strong person can do. Some people live a life that they don’t want

to live because they don’t have motivation to turn their life around. Not

having motivation can sometimes lead into depression because the

person starts feeling stuck not being able to do anything about

If you go on any news website, scattered among the articles about bombings in a middle eastern country, the next Facebook update, a new health scare, and a mass shooting, inevitably somewhere in the lineup will be a story about Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles or another rich 20something who may or may not possess talent. Yet America still seems to care about them. Why is this? Why do we idolize these people who we have never met, and why do we care that they just bought another home, or sold 10 million copies of their new book or CD? Transgender Transgender is not a choice or a phase it is a consistent gender identity that as a society we need to learn to accept. Transgender means that you do not identify your gender as the sex that you were assigned to at birth. Transgender people have the hardest time being accepted by their own families and loved ones, which really presents a problem in the transgender community. In recent studies showed that 75% of transgender individuals have experienced significant rejection from their families which brings up the issues of why so many families of a transgender have a hard time accepting the reality at hand and some never do. Being accepted in today’s society is so difficult because as humans, we are so judgmental, so I can only…
