A) Generating profitable growth in their core markets
Britvic continue to expand the sales channel, introduce new brand product and flavour, reform the product by amending the sweetness and adding vitamins as well as introduce a new package size of the drinks in Great Britain (GB), France and Ireland.
Also, the acquisition of Britvic and East Coast Suppliers Ltd provides a shortcut to their growing plan and increase the market size in Ireland.
B) Exploiting global opportunities in kids, family and adult categories

The decision to leave the European Union and the proposed soft drinks levy in GB and Ireland from April 2018 may affect the prospects of the company.
Leaving European Union
The terms and conditions have not negotiated when the UK leaves the European Union, the possible impact to Britvic cannot comment. But in the period before exiting the European Union, there are three main areas could be affected as mentioned in the report:
i) The growth of soft drinks category will decelerate due to the UK’s economy downturn. ii) The increase in raw material cost such as PET, sugar and juices due to the impact of reducing the value of Sterling. iii) The value of deficit related to the group’s defined benefit schemes because of the further reduction in gilt yields.
The above factors may affect the profit of the company by sales volume, input costs etc.
